Dr. Thomas Handel
Dr. Thomas Handel graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Optometry at the age of 23. He was one of the youngest to graduate from the college.
After graduation he returned to Northeast Ohio. In 1991, four years after he graduated, Dr. Handel purchased Arlington Eye Care. The growth of Arlington Eye Care led Dr. Handel to open The Handel Vision Clinic in Fairlawn.
Professionally, Dr. Handel prides himself on keeping up with technology that will enhance the eye exam experience for the patients and help the doctors evaluate your eyes accurately. He is a member of the Optometric Honor Society Beta Sigma Kappa, the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.
In addition to being an avid Buckeyes fan, Dr. Handel keeps busy by spending time with his wife, Krista and their 4 children. Every year Dr. Handel supports the Multiple Sclerosis Society by participating in the Pedal to the Point Bike-A-Thon.
Dr. Handel is available for appointments in Green on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. He sees patients in Fairlawn on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Dr. Kenneth King earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Houston, Texas in 1992. Since that time he has worked in Texas, California and Ohio.
Professionally, he is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association and participates in the Infant See program.
Dr. King returned to his Ohio roots and resides in the Portage Lakes area. He enjoys summers by relaxing on his boat and loves to travel in his spare time.
Dr. King is available for appointments in Green on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and in Fairlawn on Mondays and Thursdays.

Dr. Ronald Nelson
Dr. Ronald Nelson is a 1973 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. After graduation he became a commissioned officer in the United States Navy until his retirement in 1994. He has been in private practice since that time.
Dr. Nelson is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association. Dr. Nelson enjoys following the Buckeyes and spending time with family.
Appointments with Dr. Nelson can be scheduled in Green on Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Friday. He can be seen in Fairlawn on Wednesdays and Saturday.
